What We Do

Below are details of the weekly events that we run.  Visit the News & Events page for this month's diary or get in touch with us if you have any questions.

Evening service: 4:30pm every Sunday
A service of hymns/songs, prayers and a talk based on a Bible theme or passage lasts about three quarters of an hour and is followed by a cup of tea and a more informal time of fellowship.
The service on the first Sunday of each month is followed by a buffet tea and activities for young people.

SOS (Something On Sundays): 10:30am Sundays during term time
SOS is a half-hour programme for children and young people.  Each week we look at a theme from the Bible as we explore the Christian faith through games, quizzes, stories, puzzles and videos.

Breaking of bread: 11:30am every Sunday Note: Breaking of bread has moved to 10:30am during July and August
At the Last Supper, just before he was crucified, Jesus asked His followers to share bread and wine, representing His body and blood, in memory of Him in His death. At the 'breaking of bread', or 'communion', committed Christians obey Jesus' request and join together to worship Him.

Prayer meeting: 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of every month
We share issues that we're concerned about and pray about them together.

Bible study: 7:30pm every Wednesday apart from the first Wednesday of the month
We discuss a passage from the Bible and think about how God is speaking to us through it. We follow our discussion with a short time of prayer together.

Saturday Club: 10:00am - 11:00am first Saturday of the month
Games or crafts and a short Bible message for children.

Other activities
We organise other activities from time to time - such as quiz evenings, make and take days for children, and walks. These are announced at our services, in the monthly newsletter and on the News & Events page.
